The concept is based on the Roggegratbad building’s former life: almost 250 years ago it served as a small bathhouse for the region, a typical establishment for the time. The original spring has been reactivated for the new apartments to supply the entire building with water – the same water that filled the baths here 250 years ago and was considered to have healing properties.

Roggegratbad is located in Wyssachen – a 10-minute drive from Huttwil in the Emmental/Oberaargau region. It stands alone, almost at the end of a cul-de-sac, nestled in a tranquil, idyllic hillscape, far away from the stress of everyday life and the hectic of modern living, where time seems to stand still – or at least for the duration of your stay.
